This is a workshop for any new, or ongoing productions. One or more of our representatives will come to set (with covid precautions) and deliver a talk with the cast and crew about inclusive language, anti racist practices (including micro-aggressions), and undoing the culture of misogyny that holds us ALL back from having a safer/ happier workplace. Very down to earth approach from former and current film tech trans tradespeople. All questions welcome, we work it out here, together.
Workshop For Unions, Employers, Production Houses
One or more representatives from ATGT will visit your workplace (remotely, or in person depending on the pandemic) to stage a similar talk to the On Set Workshop, and also take more time to do in depth learning and interactive practice. We can make a workshop that would best suit your needs. Including having people send us anonymous questions they may be afraid to ask. Let's remove shame and fear from learning
Our Workshop facilitators
Our workshop facilitators are people who are current, or former tradespeople in film who are trans or gender non conforming. We are trained in de-escalation technique and are aware of the power dynamics on any set. We aim to teach without shaming people, with having open honest discussions, we are happy to answer questions confidentially as well. We have done these workshops with Teachers, Health Care Workers, and Arts Organizations successfully. We want conversations, not just to tell you what to do, we aim for understanding, compassion, humour and acceptance in our workshops. We are all learning together.
